ELO changes are calculated using this formula:
Based on ELO difference:
Expected = 24% | Actual = 100% (win) | K = 32 | Margin = 1.25x
Result: +30 ELO (big reward for the upset!)
ELO changes depend on three factors:
View any match to see a full breakdown of the calculation.
The K-factor determines how much your ELO can change per match. Higher K = bigger swings.
New players/teams get higher K so ratings converge faster. Veterans change slowly.
Forever ELO is your lifetime rating that never resets. Season ELOresets monthly to give everyone a fresh start. Season champions earn a 10% bonus added to their Forever ELO.
If you haven't played for 4+ weeks, you'll see a "Rusty" badge on your profile. This is just informational to let others know you might be out of practice—it doesn't affect your actual ELO rating.
Players who play 2+ matches per week earn an "Active" badge. This helps identify who's currently in form and playing regularly.
Yes! Singles and doubles have completely separate ELO ratings. Your performance in one doesn't affect the other. You could be 1500 in singles and 800 in doubles (or vice versa).
Casual Matches:
Tournament Matches:
Teams have their own separate ELO rating, independent from individual players. This tracks the team's performance as a doubles partnership.
💡 Example:
If your team has a match, the team's ELO goes up/down—but your personal singles and doubles ELO stays the same. Tournament prizes go to the team's ELO, not individual players.
Teams are for doubles partnerships. When you play doubles with a registered team, the team's stats (wins, losses) are tracked together.
Per Season Rules:

The platform adds 50 ELO to each tournament prize pool:
This ensures even non-winners can gain ELO from participating.
You can leave a tournament while registration is still open. Your entry fee will be refunded. Once the tournament starts, you cannot leave.
Tournament matches use a 1.0x multiplier (no bonus) to keep things fair. In a tournament, the goal is to win, not necessarily win big. This makes tournament play more strategic.
